Girls' room in our warm pink paint color Pink Clay
When you are eagerly awaiting the arrival of your little girl, decorating a warm, loving nursery is a special moment. For little Nova, Elina from Tuk Make-Over created a soft room in Anne and Sjoerd's new-build home. The empty room with white walls called for a subtle addition of color and warmth. A decor that would be neutral and sweet, with pink as the base. The result? A dreamy girls' room where our favorite Pink Clay paint color added a good dose of atmosphere.
Color inspiration for a girls' room with warm pink
The room, almost three by three meters, is on the sunny side of the house and has a large window that lets in lovely light. In the bright room, Pink Clay became the wall color, applied to all walls. This color immediately gives the room a loving, cozy look and creates a timeless, soft atmosphere that is perfect for a girl's nursery.
The combination of Pink Clay with a subtle floral wallpaper makes the whole playful yet calm. Instead of applying the wallpaper up to the ceiling, a strip in the same color as the other walls has been applied between the wallpaper and the ceiling, finished with a decorative trim in the same color. This gives the room depth and a surprisingly playful effect, making the space feel larger and brighter. This is also a great styling tip that makes your room just a little different!
