A girls' room to dream of: with the colours Tea Time and Rosie as mood setters
It's a common saying among parents: little ones grow up, and fast too. Before you know it, your toddler will be ready for a proper nursery—one that suits her personality, her growth, and her dreams. When Juun's parents (almost two) decided their daughter deserved a new room, they jumped at the chance to participate in the Tuk Make-Over photoshoot. What followed was an inspiring makeover where love, style, and color took center stage. The stars of this nursery? Our very own Day at the Zoo paint colors, Tea Time and Rosie !

A surprisingly playful girls' toddler room
Juun is an adventurous toddler and always on the move. But at the same time, she loves reading books, dancing, and relaxing in a warm shower. This unique combination of tough and sweet is reflected in her new room, where the colors and materials reflect her personality.
The foundation of Juun's room is soft, warm, and yet surprisingly playful. The subtle floral wallpaper "Lief" by Summer Gray is combined with natural materials, and it's precisely this layering that creates excitement without feeling overly busy. It's striking how important the paint choice was in creating that balance. This is where our colors Tea Time and Rosie came into play.

Tea Time: a soft and warm lilac color
Tea Time is one of our core colors: a fantastic base color for a girl's room. This powdery shade has a hint of pink and lilac. And if you're feeling bold, feel free to paint all the walls, as seen here in Juun's room. In Juun's room, Tea Time creates a calm base that beautifully complements other colors, materials, and accessories. The color is warm and soft, but not boring—its depth and warmth make the room feel like it's literally embracing you.
Tea Time is ideal for parents who love natural tones with character. Combine it with wooden furniture, soft textiles, and warm lighting, and you have a timeless canvas that grows with your child.

Rosie: a soft and romantic shade of pink
Alongside Tea Time , Rosie also shines in Juun's room – no color palette is complete without a cheerful shade of pink. Rosie, the pink paint color, gives any girl's room that real "girly" vibe and also pairs perfectly with other soft paint colors. Combined with Tea Time, it creates a beautiful interplay of colors that exudes both warmth and refinement. Rosie pairs beautifully with natural fabrics, floral prints, and gold accents – all elements subtly incorporated into Juun's room. Think curtains with a shimmering thread, handmade cushions, and bedding that feels both rugged and soft.
Details in wallpaper and colors on the wall
What makes this girl's room so inspiring is that it feels cohesive. Every detail—from the wallpaper to the wall colors—has been carefully chosen. Michelle, Juun's mother, puts it beautifully: "You feel the warmth, you feel that everything has been carefully chosen, everything fits together beautifully." And that's precisely what makes a room special: when the space is not only beautiful but also reflects your child's personality.
For parents who want to give their daughters their own unique space, our paint colors provide the perfect foundation. Tea Time and Rosie together create a subtle, stylish combination that leaves room for character, growth, and creativity.
