We are Jessica and Elina – friends and colleagues with a shared passion for interior design. Over the years, we have worked both individually and together, but eventually decided to join forces. With our experience, talents and unique styles, we founded our creative studio, Day at the Zoo. Here, we bring our love for interior design to life and design warm, atmospheric spaces in which you and your family truly feel at home.

Jessica
Jessica lives with Danny and their two children, Fiene and Hugo, in Kamerik, where she runs her own 'little zoo'. Her love for interior, colour and design started in her youth and has been her greatest passion ever since

After studying Interior Architecture at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, Jessica gained valuable experience at
various companies. She has a broad expertise in both private interior design and furnishing for the business market.
For Jessica, one thing is central: an interior must be personal. It is a reflection of the residents and fits seamlessly with their lifestyle and the way they use the space. Her designs feel like home immediately, with an eye for harmony and detail.
Jessica's style is unique and natural, always with a subtle dose of colour. Her enthusiasm, care and eye for detail make every interior project something special.

Elina
Elina recently moved to Italy with her 'little zoo', where she lives very happily with her Arno, Fedde and Fien. Elina started her career almost 15 years ago, after completing a degree in Interior Design.
She starts as a stylist for a large international company, where she styles and designs showrooms, exhibition stands and photoshoots. A few years later she decides to take a new path as an independent all-round stylist and designer. She soon starts to specialize in Kids Lifestyle. This gives her the opportunity to work for different clients and expand her styling expertise.
She has helped hundreds of parents to make their children's rooms original, personal and atmospheric spaces. From a young age, the "radar" for design, color, feeling and atmosphere is constantly on. Her natural, balanced and cheerful style fits perfectly with her soft and caring character.
